The Michael E. McGoldrick Foundation Announces Seven Scholarship Winners, Awarding a Total of $500,000
April 4, 2025 – The Michael E. McGoldrick Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarship awards. Seven deserving students from Colorado and Washington have been selected as winners, each receiving a share of $500,000 in scholarship funds.
The scholarships, which are designed to assist students in pursuing their higher education dreams, were awarded based on academic excellence, community involvement, and personal achievements. The recipients represent various academic disciplines, including STEM, humanities, business, and the arts.
“We are incredibly proud to support these outstanding individuals,” said Ron Speaker, CEO of the Michael E. McGoldrick Foundation. “Each of these students has demonstrated exceptional dedication to their studies and a deep commitment to positively impacting their communities. We are excited to provide them with the resources they need to further their educational goals.”
By awarding these scholarships, MEM Scholars seeks to help students unlock opportunities that will ultimately allow them to contribute to their fields and society in meaningful ways. Each scholarship recipient has shown outstanding potential in their chosen fields, contributing to their communities through volunteer work, internships, leadership roles, and other notable achievements.
The scholarship winners are as follows:
- Annabelle Applegate – Carbondale, Colorado – Glenwood Springs High School
- Kayla Grenwis – Arvada, Colorado – Ralston Valley High School
- Devin Klock – Pueblo, Colorado – East High School
- Collin Luu – Aspen, Colorado – Aspen High School
- Sosan Safi – Arvada, Colorado – Ralston Valley High School
- Jazz Zanger – Dayton, Washington – Walla Walla High School
- Noah Magallanes – Seattle, Washington – Lakeside School
